Jake Crum Double Header Weekend

Statesville, NC: Coming off of an impressive 6th place finish in his ARCA RE/MAX series debut in Mansfield, OH, seventeen year old driving sensation Jake Crum will be creating his own double header with races in Tennessee and Virginia this weekend.

Friday night Crum will partner with Teddy Mann from Canton, NC in the #99 car at the Newport Speedway in Newport, TN. This is a super late model twin 75 lap event with the opportunity for autograph signing and photographs prior to the 7:30 pm start.

To celebrate the 4th of July, the 2008 UARA Stars Champion will then be back with Team Crum Racing in Coeburn, VA for the eighth UARA race of the 2009 season.

“We are all very excited to be able to race on the 4th of July,” said Crum.

In recent past visits Crum has done well at Lonesome Pines. In the September 2008 UARA race Crum was able to finish second. In early June 2009 Crum finished first in the Late Model Race.
