Jake "The Snake" Crum Looking for Win Number One This Weekend Rougemont, NC - Jake “The Snake” Crum heads to Orange County Raceway as the UARA Stars points leader, but is still looking for his first win of the season.  The 16 year-old driver has shown consistency and patience so far in the 2008 season and it is paying off.  He has two second place finishes in the first two races, and now it is time to grab that top spot.

“I’m happy with our finishes so far this year,” commented Crum.  “We’re leading the points, but we’re definitely ready for that win.”

Crum will be running against some tough competition in the UARA-STARS Strutmasters.com 150 on Saturday, but has proved that he has what it takes to win.  He was taking the lead when the caution came out with three laps to go at the season opener in Concord and led more than 60 laps at Motor Mile Speedway two weeks ago.  Crum has been a contender all season and it is just a matter of time before he makes his way to Victory Lane.  Qualifying will begin at 2:15, followed by an autograph session around 3p.  Racing is set to start at 4p.
