Crum Is Ready to Take On Lady Luck:
UARA-Stars head to Bristol for season opener

Bristol, TN: Jake Crum, the 2008 UARA-Stars Champion is returning to the track he has the biggest love-hate relationship with on Saturday night. Bristol Motor Speedway has always been one of Crum’s best tracks but he does not have the finishing positions to show for it.

“We have done really well at Bristol in the past,” said Crum. “But something usually goes wrong. We are hoping that this year we will break the curse.”

Crum is starting off the weekend well. After practice he was 22nd fastest but was able to crank it up during qualifying where he ended up 4th.

The UARA race is going to be part of a bigger event than its regular Saturday night excitement. The race will be following the NASCAR Nationwide race as well as a celebrity race and a past winners race.
