Daytona, FL – Jake "The Snake" Crum joined Performance Racing Network (PRN) Radio on stage for the Daytona Beach Fast Talk show on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Volusia Mall in Daytona Beach, FL.

 

“I had a lot of fun,” commented Jake.  “There were a lot more people there than I expected but I’ve known Doug [Rice] for awhile, so I felt pretty comfortable up there.”

 

Jake was on stage for an interview session with Doug Rice of PRN before they went live on the air for their week long radio show on the days counting down to the 50th running of the Daytona 500.  Wednesday night's show featured NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Bush and Carl Edwards. 

 

“It was really pretty cool to go on stage before NASCAR Sprint Cup champions like Jeff and Jimmie,” boasted the 16 year-old driver.  “To know that the same fans that were waiting for them wanted my autograph too was just amazing.”

 

Jake was on hand to discuss his racing career and his upcoming 2008 season in which he will be running this third full time year in the UARA Stars Late Model Series.  He also spent some time with the fans signing autographs after the show. 

 

Jake’s next appearance will be at the Food City Family Night in Bristol, Tenn., on March 12 – 13, 2008.
